お久しぶりです!　帰ってきました！半年ぶりの投稿ですね。

Long time no see! I’m back to this blog! It has been half a year since the last time I wrote one.

別にどこかに旅行に行ってたとかそういうわけではないんです。

The reason why I did not write such a long time is not like travelling somewhere or etc.

今僕は医科大学の4年生に所属しているんですが、日本の医学部は4年生から5年生に進級すると教室でパワポのスライドを見ながら先生の話を聞く座学中心の授業から一気に方針転換して、病棟で実際に本物の患者さんを相手にしながら、「目の前の患者さんを治す」ことを目的とした実習が中心になります。

Now I am in the 4th year of medical school. In Japanese medical school, students mostly attend to the classes as audiences till the 4th year, but after that they start to work as a student doctor in the hospital and focus on how to cure the patients they get.

というわけで日本全国の医学科4年生には2つの大きなタスクが与えられます。

Therefore, all of 4th year medical students get 2 big task they must go over.

それは

CBT＆OSCEの合格。

Passing CBT and OSCE.

要は、ちゃんと患者さんを相手にできるだけの知識と技量があるかを確かめるテストです。

In short, these are the exams to check whether students have enough skill or knowledge to deal with actual patients.

これらに合格するために半年ほど本の虫になってました。もちろん部活もやってましたし、写真もやってましたが…(笑)

I have been a bookworm for half a year to pass them. Of course, I didn’t stop my volleyball club and my hobby, photograph though.

というわけで来年の1月から大学病院でお医者さん見習い、始めます。

Anyway, I am going to start to serve in the hospital as an apprentice of doctor!

5年への進級も決まり、友人と香川へ行ったときに立てた今年の目標、

「4年になって、5年になる。」

は見事に達成されました。

At the beginning of this year, when I went to Kagawa with my friend, I made a goal of the year.

“Become 4th year student, then move up to 5th year”

Finally I completely met this target.

来年の目標ですが、「イギリス留学を勝ち取る」にしたいと思います。

My objective of the next year is “Be one of the participants of clinical clerkship program in UK”.

臨床実習では必修実習(消化器とかメインなやつ)と選択実習(麻酔科とかサブカル的なのをするか必修をもう一周するとか)の2種類があり選択実習の時期にイギリスの大学の臨床実習に1か月ほど混ぜてもらおうかなと思っているという次第です。

In clinical clerkship, there are “required” and “optional”. In the optional term I can select clinical clerkship program in abroad for a month.

そのためにIELTS OA:7.0をクリアしたうえで面接にクリアしなければならない(らしい)です。

I should get 7.0 for IELTS over all score. And then I have to pass interview stage. (I don’t know what is going to be on the interview though)

単語力やスピーキング力など道のりはまだまだ長いですがマイペースに頑張りたいと思います。(^^) 間違いがたくさんあると思うので見つけたら教えてくださいm(₋　₋)m

Well I have some sever problems like vocabularies or speaking, but I would like to do my best. There should be many mistakes, so please tell me through comment when you find them.

この半年間何をとっていたかというと、

Well, I also traveled sometimes to take pictures!

18きっぷのポスターを追いかけてみたり

I searched the site of a commercial poster really moved me,

あの頃の青を探してみたり(奥に見える双子島はDASH島らしい)

下灘に行ってみたり

I visited Shimonada station, which is famous for place of dramas or animation films.

人物画にチャレンジしてみたり

I also tried some portraits.

たーまやーしてました。(笑)

And enjoyed fireworks.

夏休みにはほかにも西医体や実習での愛南町訪問など盛りだくさんで、何より中高の同級生たちが続々と就職が決まるなど濃い3週間でした。

During the summer vacation, I had so many events, like this trip, volleyball competition, visiting study at Ainan town for public health study (I enjoyed food and activities a lot!!!). And also, my classmates in high school finished their job hunting so we held some parties. That was really deep but enjoyable 3 weeks.

9月になっても社会人のサッカーに出ては車で写真撮りに関空行ったり(笑)

After the vacation, of course I started to concentrate in the study, I went to play football and then went to KIX to take some pictures.

地味にスーパーショット(笑)

I think that’s my best shot in 2016!

こんな半年間でした。

24日から5日までまたヨーロッパに行くのでまたブログ書きます。(去年のフランス、ベルギー、スイス、イタリア旅行をまだ書いてない)。お楽しみに。

I spent these 6 months like this.

I am going to travel Europe for revenge(?). I will write about that someday (still I have topics like adventures in Paris, Brussels, Zermatt and Rome though xD ), so see you till the next time! (Or you can check my twitter)
